"John Flashburg (Flash)is currently serving aboard the 'USS Kamikaze' as Captain. It is one of the first ships of the line in the Red Shirt Fleet.
General Biography:
Captain Flashburg grew up in the middle of war torn planet on the edge of self destruction. The United Federation of Planets stepped in the middle of the skirmish to help resolve their differences before there was nothing left of the planet. The United Federation of Planets was about to reach an agreement with both parties; when a Commander on one of the sides was outraged at the demands of the Federation, and lead a revolt.
That’s when Flashburg stepped in and led a team of his own against the aggressors. After three days of fighting the rebels; he then single handedly captured the turncoat Commander. His shirt was stained in blood. That soaked in and permanently colored it Red. This battle earned him an Award of Valor. For leading a successful mission with the least amount of lives lost.
Star Fleet Carreer:
Star Fleet was impressed with how quickly he showed that in a rough spot, he would keep his cool and lead a good Command. Upon entering the Academy he was presented with the rank of Lieutenant Jr. Grade. He then tested very well as a pilot but showed even stronger results for tactics and command. Upon leaving the Academy he had reached the rank of Lieutenant for his continued strength of command and tactics.
Flashburg served under the vigulate eye of Captain Janeway. On countless occations he showed the Captain continued excellence in the ability to come up with tactics that kept Voyager from being destroyed. Promotions came quickly to him during his service aboard Voyager. By the time Voyager had come back; he had been promoted to Commander.
Commander Flashburg served under Captain Godfrey Benjimin. As first officer his tactical skills grew more and more as the time went by. “Commander Flashburg shows a high level of command skills though he’s kept me from going on away missions. He has proven himself to be an excellent officer. I personaly recommend him for the rank of Captain.“ This excerpt from several of Captain Benjimin’s personal and official logs.
