"Everything belongs to me. If it looks like it does not belong to me, I just did not claim it yet." - Personal Rule of Acquisition
Contents |
Biography
Born in the glorious time when Grand Nagus Zek was still a real Ferengi, Sinth grew up to embrace his culture. He lived by the rules of acquisition and soon made it to become acting chairman of Eelwasser. However, the good times didn't last. In an attempt to get his hands on future exchange projections by travelling through an unstable anomaly, Sinth ended up in the near future. Disgusted by the reforms made by Grand Nagus Rom, he had to learn to adapt to a new Ferenginar - a home world that was no longer his home.
Starfleet Career
With Ferenginar corrupted by hewmon 'ethics', Sinth decided to take silent revenge. He joined Starfleet, just so that arrogant pack would learn a lesson and realize they had summoned a demon they may never be able to control. His knowledge from the time in Eelwasser Quality Control helped Sinth to become a respected science officer, and even to get assigned a command. His first official action was to sell the hewmon vessel to the highest bidding Orion, and then purchase a brand new Ferengi Casino Ship, which Sinth cleverly disguised as the science vessel given to him. Now, he travels the quadrant with fellow employees of the Ferengi Express on a mission of peaceful, diplomatic exploitation.
Business Partners
Sinth entertains lucrative contacts to nearly every enemy the Federation has made. His best deal, however, is his Yridian informer Yai, who gathers information from all over the quadrant. With this navigator, Sinth easily travels the Great River to the shores made of Latinum. Gossip also has it Sinth deals with a Lethean named Quon, who delivers rare materials from enemy stocks in exchange for 'medical supploes'. Seeing there is a Lethean scientist named Quon who has a weird collection of Nausicaans labeled with 'Experiment (failed)' on his ship, it is doubtful these 'medical supplies' are what Sinth claims they are.

Controversity
- Sinth won the Ferengi Tongo Tournament on Bolarus 62 times in a row. The Bolian Gambling Comission accused him of cheating every single time, but since cheating is legal after Ferengi law and the Bolian Gambling Comission was sold to Ferenginar under Grand Nagus Zek, Sinth kept the jackpots.
- The holonovel 'Private Investigations of the Tal Shiar' tells the dramatic story of (female) Bajoran labor workers in the Romulan occupation of Bajor. Because Sinth was unable to hire real Cardassian actors, and the make up effects to dress his underpaid Bajoran cast as Romulans was cheaper, the script was changed and is now historically inaccurate. It is still one of the bestselling holonovels for an adult audience in the Alpha Quadrant.
